License of use
Last updated: 2026-07-02
This license explains exactly what you can and cannot do with a Lolos Crochet pattern. By purchasing or downloading a pattern (including free ones) you accept this license. It is part of our Terms & Conditions. Contact: patterns@loloscrochet.store.
1. Copyright
All patterns, photos, illustrations, texts, and instructions are original works by Lolos Crochet, protected by Mexico's Federal Copyright Law and applicable international treaties (including the Berne Convention). All rights reserved.
Buying a pattern does not transfer copyright or any intellectual property rights to you: you acquire a license to use the work, not the work itself.
2. What you get with your purchase
A personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license, revocable upon breach, to use the pattern under this license. The PDF you receive is visibly and invisibly marked with your purchase details.
- The pattern PDF with step-by-step instructions and photos.
- Permanent access to the file from your library.
- Support if you get stuck: email or Instagram DM.
3. What you MAY do
- Crochet the piece as many times as you like, for yourself or as gifts.
- Print the PDF or keep copies on your devices for personal use.
- Sell finished pieces you crochet by hand, in small quantities (markets, commissions, your online shop), crediting the design: “Design: Lolos Crochet (@loloscrochet.store)”.
- Post photos of your finished pieces on social media. We love it, tag us.
4. What you may NOT do
- Share, gift, lend, resell, or redistribute the pattern (the PDF or its contents), free or paid, in whole or in part.
- Publish the pattern online: websites, forums, Facebook/WhatsApp/Telegram groups, shared drives, or any other medium.
- Do group buys or split one copy among several people.
- Translate, adapt, modify, or create derivative patterns for distribution, or create video tutorials that reproduce the pattern, without written permission.
- Produce the pieces industrially, at scale, or through hired third parties.
- Present the design as your own, or use Lolos Crochet's name, logo, or photos to sell your products (beyond the design credit).
- Use the pattern or its photos to train AI systems or include them in datasets.
5. Watermarking and enforcement
Every PDF sold is delivered marked with the purchase details. If a pattern shows up shared, that mark lets us identify the originating purchase.
Breaching this license terminates it immediately and may result in loss of access, takedown requests, and applicable legal action under Mexican and international law.
6. Commercial licensing
Want to produce at a larger scale, publish a translation, use a design in a paid class or workshop, or anything else this license doesn't cover? Email patterns@loloscrochet.store and let's talk.
